Jason N. Gesmer Jason Gesmer's focus is on Worker's Compensation and Social Security Disability Law. He is a both a graduate of Northwestern University and Northwestern University School of Law and has been practicing for more than 30 years. Mr. Gesmer is currently a member of the Illinois State and Winnebago County Bar Associations. He is also a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives, and frequently lectures on compensation issues. James A. Gesmer James Gesmer is a graduate of Knox College and a graduate of Indiana University School of Law. His area of practice is in Worker's Compensation and Social Security Disability, frequently speaking on Worker's Compensation issues. James is currently a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and the Winnebago County Bar Association. Prior to his practice with Gesmer Law Offices, P.C., James was Assistant State's Attorney for the Winnebago County State's Attorney's Office. Amy Taber - Legal Assistant Amy has been employed as a legal assistant at gesmer Law Offices, P. C., since October 2001. Amy is a native of the Rockford area who graduated from Rockford Business College, obtaining her Associates Degree in 1998. Prior to joining Gesmer Law Office, P.C., Amy worked as a legal assistant for several area law firms. Amy excels in working with our clients and assisting Jason and James Gesmer in servicing the needs of our clients.
